Ingredients

This neon green cocktail is perfectly sweet and fizzy. Here is more information on what we are using for this Toyko tea recipe. For the full recipe including all measurements, see the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  • Gin: Bombay Saphhire is our go-to for gin.
  • White rum: Make sure to use white or light rum in this recipe. White rum adds a touch of sweetness and a hint of tropical flair, complementing the melon liqueur and balancing the overall flavor profile.
  • Midori: A Japanese melon-flavored liqueur that makes this cocktail so unique and gives it its bright green color. This ingredient is essential for achieving the drink’s distinctive taste and appearance. The Midori Sour and Midori Splice are two other common midori cocktails.
  • Triple sec: An orange liqueur commonly found in a Margarita. You could also use Cointreau or Grand Marnier for a higher-shelf option.
  • Tequila: Whenever you are choosing a tequila, always choose one that is labeled “100% agave.” This ensures that there are no added fillers that reduce its quality and taste.
  • Vodka: A good quality vodka adds a clean, crisp kick to the cocktail.
  • Sweet and sour mix: Combines lemon and lime flavors with a touch of sweetness, providing a tangy balance to the cocktail’s sweetness. It is so easy to make your own to keep on hand for dozens of cocktail recipes.
