When you are looking for a holiday drink to serve at Christmas, you definitely need this cocktail. This Eggnog Martini takes eggnog drinking to a new level. This cocktail starts with cinnamon simple syrup which is so easy to make. Make a nice big batch of it so you can make plenty of Eggnog Martinis throughout the holiday season.
WHAT ALCOHOL DO YOU USE IN AN EGGNOG MARTINI?
Most eggnog drinks combine eggnog with rum, but this one uses vodka! We made this holiday martini with regular vodka, but it would be really fun to try a different flavored vodka with this, like caramel or vanilla. Whatever vodka you use, make sure that it is a smooth vodka you would sip on it’s own. Those always make the best martinis.
WHAT BAR EQUIPMENT DO YOU NEED?
We combined all the ingredients for two martinis in a cocktail shaker before lining the glasses with caramel syrup and serving. But you could just as easily double or triple this recipe and make a whole pitcher of martinis.
And we certainly won’t hold it against you if you decide that the best way to drink this festive beverage is out of a crystal moose cup, holding on to the antlers in the fanciest way possible.
(Name that movie for bonus points.)
