The Pornstar Martini has been called fun and pure indulgence. This two-ingredient modern classic is fruity with a hint of vanilla. With its provocative name, once you have your first taste you will understand why it is a favorite.
This Passion Fruit Martini was created in 2002 in the United Kingdom and has shot up in popularity quickly to become a very popular cocktail. It was originally called a Maverick Martini but the creator Douglas Ankrah decided to change the name. The passion fruit juice and vanilla vodka make for a delicious combination that will make any night feel superb.
Pornstar Martini Ingredients
Here are the ingredients that make up this delicious martini! Some recipes may also have lime juice as an ingredient for this cocktail to also balance the tartness, but I love the tartness so we did not add it. - Vanilla vodka: Adds a sweet, vanilla flavor to the martini.
- Passion fruit juice: See more on where to find this below.
- Passion fruit: Makes for the perfect garnish, but is optional.
- Prosecco: This is served on the side, not mixed into the martini. Champagne can also be used, you just want a wine that is dry and bubbly to have alongside the cocktail.

This may not be a juice you just have lying around your house. We found Welch’s Passion Fruit Juice Cocktail the easiest to find. It is in the refrigerated section of your grocery store next to other fruit juices, near the orange juice.
How to Make a Pornstar Martini
This cocktail only has three ingredients and you could get by with just two. For the full Pornstar Martini recipe and measurements, see the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
- Add the vodka and juice to a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish and serve with a glass of Prosecco on the side.
Serving
Fresh passion fruit may be more expensive than you want to pay for something to garnish a drink with, but that should not stop you from making this drink. You can skip the fruit and it will still be a wonderfully refreshing cocktail.
Serve with a glass of Champagne or Prosecco on the side. The bubbly wines should be sipped in between drinking the martini to help balance the passion fruit’s tartness.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces vanilla vodka
- 2 ounces passion fruit juice
- 1/2 passion fruit for garnish
- prosecco
Instructions
- Add the vanilla vodka, passion fruit juice, and ice to a shaker and shake well.
- Strain the drink into a glass.
- Garnish with half a passion fruit.
- Serve with the prosecco on the side.
