Kamikaze is a Japanese word meaning “divine wind.” Essentially a vodka margarita, the Kamikaze drink can make a typical evening at home feel like a vacation!

Kamikaze Recipe

The Kamikaze recipe includes three simple ingredients:

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz lime juice

A lime wedge for garnish is optional but I recommend it!

How to Serve

The Kamikaze drink is commonly served straight up or without ice in a martini glass. By cutting the amount of each ingredient in half, it can also be enjoyed in the form of a Kamikaze Shot (LINK??).

So I doubled this because it was easier to measure 2 ounces each in my measuring cup. I used Cointreau, fresh lime, and Ketel One and it was pretty balanced. I maybe would add a little simple syrup next time but overall it was pretty balanced and very refreshing (and boozy). I love the simplicity.
