Like many other delicious cocktails, we have the Italians to thank for the Campari Spritz. It’s light and vibrant, making it perfect for a warm day or anytime you need a thirst-quenching refreshment. Since it is an Aperitif, it’s meant to be enjoyed before dinner but can be enjoyed anytime!

Campari Spritz Ingredients

Just three ingredients are needed to make a Campari Spritz, just remember 3-2-1. Be sure to see the recipe card at the bottom of the post for the full list of ingredients and measurements.

  • Campari: Provides a bold and bitter base that defines the drink and gives it its vibrant red color. There’s no real substitute for its unique taste. Read more on Campari below.
  • Sparling Wine: Adds a touch of sweetness. Choose a dry Prosecco (brut) to keep the drink crisp and refreshing.
  • Soda water: Adds a refreshing fizziness and dilutes the intensity of the other ingredients, making the spritz lighter and more drinkable.
