Like the popular actor and martial artist it is named after, you won’t know what hit you with this easy shot recipe. Similar to the classic Cherry Bomb Shot but with a spicy, roundhouse kick, this Chuck Norris shot is fun to make and will keep your party going.

What is in a Chuck Norris Shot

Just four ingredients are needed for this fizzy, sweet, and spicy bomb shot recipe.

  • Grenadine: A pomegranate-flavored bar syrup that adds sweetness to this recipe. If you want a less sweet shot, leave this out.
  • Vodka: Cherry or original vodka will work in this recipe, depending on how much cherry flavor you desire.
  • Energy drink: Red Bull is what we used, but you can also use Liquid Ice or another energy drink that you enjoy. The caffeine will help keep the party going!
  • Hot sauce: Just a dash will add a spicy punch to this bomb shot.

How to Make Chuck Norris Shots

This Chuck Norris Red Bull shot comes together in just a few steps and a splash. For the measurements and full recipe, see the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  • Fill a pint glass half full with your energy drink.
  • Add your vodka to a shot glass followed by grenadine.
  • Add a dash of hot sauce to the shot glass.
  • Drop the shot glass into the energy drink.
  • Drink and enjoy!

How to Serve

There are two ways you can serve your Chuck Norris shot:

  • Fill a shot glass with grenadine, vodka, and hot sauce.
  • Alternatively, skip the grenadine and fill the shot glass with cherry vodka and a splash of hot sauce.

Using a chilled energy drink will make the shot experience that much more refreshing. Measure your ingredients right before serving so everything is fresh. Once you drop the shot glass into the energy drink, drink it quickly so the ingredients all combine. Use caution when attempting any roundhouse kicks after taking a Chuck Norris shot!
