These Lucky Leprechaun Shots start with some whiskey and are the perfect cocktail for St. Patrick’s Day! Don’t let the day go by without celebrating with a batch of these two-ingredient green shots.

There’s nothing like a little Irish whiskey to get you in the party mood. And this tart, flavorful shot is the perfect green cocktail to keep the St. Patrick’s Day bash going in between green beer and all the green-colored food.

St Patrick’s Day Shots Ingredients

These simple green shots come together with just two ingredients. For the full recipe, see the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  • Whiskey: We love the flavor of Jack Daniel’s Whiskey in this shot recipe. If you want to use an Irish whiskey, Jameson is a great choice.
  • Sour apple schnapps: The apple-flavored liqueur gives the shot its green color and sour apple kick.

How to Make Lucky Leprechaun Shots

  1. Prepare the shot glasses. Roll the rims of four shot glasses in corn syrup to coat, then dip them in a shallow plate of gold sprinkles.
  2. Makes the shots. Add one ounce of whiskey followed by an ounce of apple schnapps to each glass.
  3. Enjoy!
