You will need a bottle of red wine (whatever your favorite is), 1/4 cup triple sec, 1/2 cup brandy, an orange, a lemon, a lime, an apple (optional), and a splash of sparkling water or seltzer (optional).
How to Make Sangria
Simply combine red wine, brandy, and triple sec into a large pitcher. Taste and if not sweet enough for your liking, add simple syrup. Slice up an orange, lemon, and lime and add them to the pitcher. Let pitcher sit in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Making this red sangria is super easy, it is best if it can sit for a few hours or even overnight before serving so try to plan ahead if making this for an event. Short on time? Using chilled wine and squeezing your fruit into the pitcher before adding them can speed up the process a bit.
How to Serve
After the sangria has sat for a few hours, it is ready to enjoy! Keep chilled and pour into wine glasses, may be served over ice. If the taste is too strong, top off with sparkling water or seltzer. Garnish with any remaining fresh fruit slices.
